Dreaming Wide Awake – Goodnight UNCSA

so for Intensive Arts this year my friend/fellow classmate wanted to do a mini production of Dreaming Wide awake by Scott Allan. We had five solos and then ended it with a choral arrangement of Goodnight. We are all current students in the Drama school at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Studio 1 members involved: Will Rives, Kevin Carillo, Mary-Kate Harris, Lauren Karaman, and Ellie Barone. Studio II members: Alejandro La Rosa, Taylor Aldrich, Megan Stanke, and Sydney Shepherd (who also plays the lovely Cello). Studio III: Jamar Williams Special thanks to Max Witt from the school of music (composition major) for the arrangement and especially Greg Walters for some fine tuning, additions,help, and teaching of the arrangement and also for being our amazing accompanist. Question by battementbabe: How hard is it to get into the year round schooling dance program at UNCSA?
I already got accepted into the summer program. Just wondering if anyone knew, I’m going insane not knowing. =/

The dance is ballet by the way, not contemp. Thanks in advance!

‘Oklahoma!,’ As It Looked/Sounded in ’43, Will Be Recreated by Mauceri, De Lappe, Freedman
Faculty, guest professionals and design and performance students at University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) will merge to realize the classic American musical Oklahoma! as it was first envisioned in 1943. The spring 2011 revival will recreate original Broadway sets, costumes and dances.
