Whether known as the Warhawk, Tomahawk, or Kittyhawk, the Curtiss P-40 proved to be a successful, versatile fighter during the first half of World War II. The shark-mouthed Tomahawks that Gen. Claire Chennault’s "Flying Tigers" flew in China against the Japanese remain among the most popular airplanes of the war. P-40E pilot Lt. Boyd D. Wagner became the first American ace of World War II when he shot down six Japanese aircraft in the Philippines in mid-December 1941.

Question by Ryan: If I want to have a career as a sports agent or (dreaming) general manager…?
would I be best served to go to a prestigious law firm? Or are there better ways to get plugged into that industry?

I love sports and am very business-savvy, so I think either one of those options would be a good job for me. I am 24, been out of college for a year, and have an extensive work history in real estate but not in sports. I got my B.S. from Auburn University in Business Administration (concentration in Supply Chain Management).

Sports Agent-Law student?

Question by Alex: Sports Agent-Law student?
I am a second year Law Student in Montreal with an interest in becoming a sports agent (hockey) or represent individuals in the entertainement industry.
The thing is, I’ve been trying to find agencies here in Montreal online but I’ve had no success. I am sure there is, although I haven’t come across any.
Does anyone know anyone or have a family member in this industry because I would like to ge a summer job or internship at one of these firms to gain some experience.

Jerry McGuire Mission Statement Clip

Jerry McGuire has a moral epiphany that drives him to write a mission statement about the sports agency company he works. The mission statement declares that the business has now been contorted into a money driven machine rather than being client- driven (what used to be important to the company in the beginning) . McGuire suggests that the company go back to its roots and have fewer clients and less money, putting the focus on more personal attention for the clients, making them feel like people instead of check-writers and money-makers. In a profit driven world, this idea backfires on McGuire. After his mission statement gets him fired from the company, McGuire decides to head up and independent sports agency firm that will focus on the core values of his mission statement. He leaves the office that day with one employee whom he inspired with his courage and gusto, and one client, whom he had previously considered less-important because he wasn’t a big-ticket star.
