Q&A: Can this pump be used in a pond less waterfall?

Question by Zachary: Can this pump be used in a pond less waterfall?
Okay, so I’m working on my eagle scout project, which is installing a pond less waterfall in the outdoor classroom of a local middle school. I have a list of all the items I need, right now I’m looking for specific brands so I can ask for donations. I came across this pond pump, and it has the right amount of gph (gallons per hour) and it looks like it would be great, but can it be used in a pond less environment? Basically, a pond less water fall is a waterfall without a pond as the basin at the bottom. Instead, there will be a basin of rocks, and the water seeps through those rocks and to the pump, where it goes back to the top and into the waterfall.
