i didn’t make the team freshman year as it is very competitive, less than half the people that try out make it. I’ve gotten a lot better, but don’t feel like trying out.

i think they would look at both. but if you didn’t get into the team they might start wondering. USTA is kind of easy (depending what level you are at or who you are against) if you want a college i think it is the high school team that they see.

I’m a sophomore who is ranked number 2 on her team ( sometimes I’m #1) and I realize that colleges really don’t look for high school teams when they recruit. So, how can I get the attention of colleges that are handing out scholarships? Should I play tournaments? If so, what tournaments are colleges notorious for scouting at?

Hi, my name is Cameron. I am a senior in high school and beginning the college search process. I have been playing tennis for a little less than 6 years. I live in Alabama and am ranked 2 in the state. I was ranked 55 in the South in 16s before I recently moved to the 18s. Our high school team has won back to back state championships. I love to work hard and see improvements. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. Comment if you would like. If you have any questions, let me know! Here is my tennis recruiting website: www.tennisrecruiting.net In Christ, Cameron
