First LCC Women’s Basketball player to sign a Pac-10 full ride scholarship

In April 2011 Mollee Schwegler officially signed a National Letter of Intent to become a Division I athlete with the Oregon State University women’s basketball team! She is the first women’s basketball player at Lower Columbia College to receive a Pac-10 full ride scholarship.

She was joined by family, friends, coaches and teammates. Mollee plans to study criminal justice or sports medicine and Oregon State. We wish her the best! Go OSU Beavers!

Physical Education at St. Benedict’s College

Every care is taken to provide facilities in the gymnasium and on campus for the preservation of health and development of the body. Regular classes in physical culture are conducted by a trained instructor. There are 2 fields for football, 3 diamonds for baseball, 5 courts for basketball, and 5 tennis courts for the use of the racket. The reason I ask is for hockey of course. If a university added CCHA program would the scholarship for hockey take away from other sports? (i.e. football)
