Normally Saturday mornings are ideal times to find games going on around town, but the rainy conditions kept some away from play. It looks like the golfers and the basketball players are a much hardier group than those tennis players! 
Wonder if there’s a universal motivator that keeps some out of the rain and others apathetic towards the weather when pursuing a fun activity?

First LCC Women’s Basketball player to sign a Pac-10 full ride scholarship

In April 2011 Mollee Schwegler officially signed a National Letter of Intent to become a Division I athlete with the Oregon State University women’s basketball team! She is the first women’s basketball player at Lower Columbia College to receive a Pac-10 full ride scholarship.
She was joined by family, friends, coaches and teammates. Mollee plans to study criminal justice or sports medicine and Oregon State. We wish her the best! Go OSU Beavers!

Im a freshman now and I was the best on Jv last year but I love basketball and want to get a scholarship for basketball for collage. The problem is that right now im like 5 foot 2. Would anyone even take me and im white. If I get better or get onto varsity this year what are my chances of this? I also have good grades and are in all the excel classes and junior honor society right now. Does that help my chances?

I just moved here from N.C and plan on going to Overlea high school. I have heard the team is really bad and not to sound cocky or nothin i am really really good im 5″9 but play like a 6″3 person im real fast, can make you fall, good crossover, can dunk, finish at the basket, and if graded my shooting game is a high B maybe A- and thats good for my age at 17 and im talking boout NBA level.
