Question by Your Face: Why don’t teams file for arbitration for all Type A Baseball free agents?
I don’t know all of the insides and outs of arbitration, but if a Type A free agent signs with another team after being offered arbitration, they get 2 first round draft picks. If they don’t offer, they get nothing. Is it just that teams don’t offer it because they don’t want the player anymore?
